Tempered Glass is one kind of safety glass produced by heating flat glass to 700℃. Then on its surface forms the compressive stress and suddenly cool down the surface evenly. According to different disposal methods, tempered glass can be defined as Total-Tempered Glass and Semi-Tempered Glass. Under outside strike, Semi-Tempered Glass is broken like ordinary glass, but it’s intension strength is 2 times to ordinary glass. Under the same thickness, the anti-strike strength of Total-Tempered Glass is 5 times to ordinary glass.
The characteristics: high anti-strike strength, hard to break and harmless to persons; fine anti-flash heat can resist 200℃ tolerance.
Annual output500,000 SQM
Size & thickness scope:
Flat tempered glass: 100×250mm~2440×6000mm thickness: 2.85mm-19mm can process Low-E glass also.
Bend tempered glass: 300×600mm~2440×4200mm thickness: 5mm-19mm
Performance:
1、Safety:the fragment is very small and there are more than 40 pieces in the area of 50×50mm while qualified tempered glass is broken. The section of fragment is basically perpendicular to its surface without sharp angle and it is not injury to person.
2、Strength for resistance to impact: can withstand 1040g steel ball impact at 1 m height without broken.
3、Bending strength: can reach 200Mpa.
4、Optical performance: there is no change during tempering process on glass.
5、Stability for resistance to heat: there is no broken tested under condition of watering melted lead(327℃) onto glass that is under normal temperature. Heating tempered glass to 200℃ and then putting into 25℃ water, there is no broken. |
